GMAC Survey Report: For some time now, the name of AI i.e. Artificial Intelligence has been resonating a lot in the world. AI is proving to be helpful in every need of the people. Science, technology, engineering and mathematics have seen an interesting increase in the number of students in these fields. India and China ahead in learning AI skills

According to Times of India, the report of Prospective Student Survey 2024 by GMAC i.e. Graduation Management Admission Council has revealed that the inclination to learn AI skills has increased significantly among students. According to the report, after studying business, students are now more inclined towards learning technology based skills.

In this case, there has been an increase of 38 percent from last year to this year. Students are now going more into the field of learning machine learning and generative AI. Talking about this, GMAC CEO Joe James said that there has been a huge increase in learning of AI skills after STEM courses i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

In which the maximum number of students are from India where in the year 2019, 43 percent people were participating in these courses. So in 2023, this number has increased to 57 percent and China is at second place, which was 35 percent till 2019, whereas in 2023 it has increased to 51 percent.

Sustainability courses first choice

In the survey conducted by GMAC i.e. Graduation Management Admission Council, the interest of students towards AI based courses has increased more. So in this survey, sustainability courses are at the first place. Sustainability courses are the first choice of about 62 percent students. So on the second place is MBA which is 42 percent. On the third place are AI courses which is 38 percent. Whereas 17 percent were in favor of hybrid learning.
