Will you get scared or will you burst out laughing? Exactly the same situation happened with a university student when he, along with his friends, opened a mysterious locked door in his bedroom. The sight of the room blew the students’ minds and people also reacted to its pictures on social media.
When the students were cleaning their rooms for the last time, their curiosity got the better of them. They had been keeping an eye on this mysterious locked door all year, and just before leaving, they managed to open the lock. What they found inside caused a stir on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Social media user WagmanSam revealed the macabre discovery after opening the door. Inside was a bizarre shrine to Harry Potter and a series of candles. The tweet was captioned, “For reference: my final year uni room has always had a locked door. Yesterday (on my last day), we opened it.”

The room contained a decapitated rabbit toy, a plastic skull and a lot of candles. There were creepy fake bloody handprints on the wall and what looked like a message from the famous wizarding world. It said, “The Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Enemies of the heir, beware.” This message was used in the famous Harry Potter film Chamber of Secrets.
While some users were horrified by the gruesome discovery, others couldn’t comprehend the wasted space that could have been put to good use, with the Harry Potter reference and the cheesy skull not fooling them at all. One user asked, “My only question is why did it take so long to open it?” And people were left wondering the same, as the question received over 25,000 likes.
