There was panic when a crocodile was seen in the river in Hayaghat. It is said that the local villagers were cleaning the banks to make a ghat for the religious festival of Chhath. During this time, the eyes of the villagers were seen towards the animal walking in the water. As soon as the information about crocodile being found in the river was received, a crowd of villagers gathered on the river bank. The police is trying to convince him and send him back home.

Local people have informed their area MLA Vinay Choudhary about finding the crocodile. After talking to the district administration, he sent a forest department team to the spot. Along with the team of forest department officials, they reached near the river and started preparations for the rescue of the crocodile. Meanwhile, Forest Department official Arun Prasad Gupta said that as soon as the information was received, we are trying to rescue the crocodile from the river in Hichaul village. Hopefully the rescue will be done soon.
