These Countries Are Reporting Highest Weekly Covid Cases Amid Surge WHO Release List


Global Report of COVID-19: The World Health Organization (WHO) has released the list of countries in which the maximum number of cases of Kovid (COVID-19) are coming. According to WHO, the maximum number of cases have come in Japan in a week where 1,046,650 new COVID cases have been reported. While talking about Republic of Korea, there have been 459,811 new cases of Kovid in a week. In America (US), 445,424 new cases of Kovid have been reported in a week, while in France, 341,136 people have been found to be Kovid positive during one week.

Apart from this, 337,810 new cases of Kovid were registered in Brazil in a week. The World Health Organization, while sharing the weekly data of deaths due to the corona epidemic, has told that the highest number of deaths have occurred in a week due to covid in America.

Weekly data of deaths released

In America, 2,658 people died in a week due to Kovid infection. At the same time, Japan is at number two in this list, where the number of people who died of Kovid in a week is 1,617. Brazil ranks third in this list where 1,133 people have died due to Kovid infection in a week. After this, France is at the fourth position in this list where the death toll in Kovid is 686 in a week and Italy is in fifth place in this list after 519 deaths from Kovid in a week.

More than 3.7 million new cases were found in a week

The World Health Organization reported the number of new weekly cases of Covid cases recorded globally for the week of December 12 to December 18 was similar (+3%) to the previous week, with more than 3.7 million new cases. The WHO said the number of new weekly deaths was down 6% from the previous week, which recorded more than 10,400 new deaths.
