However, people of both the countries like each other’s entertainment stuff a lot. While Pakistani TV serials are very much liked in India, Bollywood movies are very much liked in Pakistan, but you will be surprised to know that many popular Indian TV shows are banned from being telecast in Pakistan. The reason behind banning them is also quite interesting.
Indian TV shows are banned in Pakistan
These are loves- Indian audience liked this show of Divyanka Tripathi and Karan Patel very much but the government of Pakistan did not like the theme of this show very much. This was the reason why this show was banned there.
Sister-in-law is at home- Indian audience likes the comedy show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain very much. In the show, two neighbors queue up for the sister-in-law who lives opposite them. Although this is for comedy but the Pakistani government finds it wrong. According to him, this show gives a wrong message, hence it has been banned there.
Big Boss- Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss is quite popular among Indians but it is also banned in Pakistan. Although initially this show was being liked by the Pakistani audience and it was telecasted in Pakistan till the 9th season, but when the atmosphere of abuses and fights started developing in the show, it was banned in Pakistan.
Nagin- Actually, Pakistani people liked the supernatural show Naagin very much. Along with India, this show was also appreciated in Pakistan but only its first season could be telecasted there and just before the telecast of the second season, it was banned by the government there.
It is accepted- This show of Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti was made keeping in mind the Muslim family. However, it was still banned in Pakistan. The exact information as to why it was banned in Pakistan has not been revealed yet, but it was heard that Indian Muslim family was being shown in this show, hence it was banned in Pakistan.
