Bharatpur: Murari of Bharatpur is famous for the lentil pakodas specially made during the rainy season. As soon as the rainy season arrives, pakodas start getting prepared on Murari’s Desi Bhatti. People come from far and wide to eat them. The specialty of these pakodas is that they are made on a clay oven in pure mustard oil. This makes them taste amazing and people like them a lot.
Murari has been making these pakoras for many years in this rainy season. And the taste of his pakoras makes anyone’s mouth water. The crispy texture of the pakoras and the balanced mixture of spices make them unique. Murari tells Local 18 that to make pakoras, he first washes and soaks the lentils thoroughly. And then grinds them finely in a mixer. After this, turmeric, red chilli, green chilli, onion, and some secret spices are added. Which makes these pakoras special.
Mint chutney gives a different taste
After mixing all these spices, Murari makes small balls from this mixture and fries them in hot pure mustard oil. When the pakoras turn golden brown, they are taken out easily. After that, these pakoras are served with homemade chutney. Let us tell you that the chutney served with these pakoras is very tasty which is prepared from green coriander, mint, red chilli and spices.
The taste is quite tasty to eat
Murari says that the taste of our dal pakoras is such that after eating it once, one feels like eating it again and again. These pakoras are made only during the rainy season. Their price is Rs 200 per kg. These pakoras are very tasty and delicious to eat. They make everyone’s mouth water.
