Government Free Electricity Scheme: Many electrical appliances are used in people’s homes. Due to which electricity bills are very high. But governments of many states have announced to provide free electricity to the citizens of their states. And now many states of India provide free electricity to their citizens. Electricity is not completely free in these states. But some units of free electricity are being given in all the states. Let us know how much free electricity is being provided in which state.
There is free electricity facility in Delhi
The Arvind Kejriwal government of Delhi has been providing free electricity to the people of the state for a long time. Arvind Kejriwal’s government is giving 200 units of free electricity to the people of the state. If electricity is consumed more than 200 units, half the price has to be paid. There are a total of 58 lakh domestic electricity consumers in Delhi, out of which 48 lakh are taking advantage of this scheme.
More free electricity will be available in Jharkhand
Champai Soren has been appointed as the new Chief Minister of Jharkhand after the resignation of Hemant Soren. Along with this, Champai Soren has made a new announcement regarding the free electricity being provided to the people of the state. Earlier, domestic consumers used to get 100 units of free electricity in Jharkhand. So from now on it has been increased to 125 units.
Free electricity will be available in Rajasthan
Recently BJP has formed its new government in Rajasthan. Where Bhajan Lal Sharma was made the Chief Minister of the state. Bhajan Lal Sharma’s government has announced free electricity for the people of the state. Rajasthan Finance Minister Diya Kumari recently presented the first budget of the government in which she has announced to provide free electricity to the people of the state. Under this, 300 units of free electricity will be given every month to 5 lakh families of the state.
There is free electricity in Punjab and Himachal Pradesh also.
In Punjab where Aam Aadmi Party is in power. So there is Congress government in Himachal Pradesh. Like Delhi, the facility of free electricity is applicable in these states also. Bhagwant Man’s government provides 300 units of free electricity to the people of Punjab. So the government of Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu is giving 125 units of free electricity.
