Let us tell you that an American woman has registered her name in the Guinness Book by cycling the fastest round of the world. 38-year-old Lael Wilcox started her journey from Chicago and ended it there. It took her 108 days, 12 hours and 12 minutes. Let us tell you that by cycling for 29,169 kilometers, Wilcox has broken the previous record set by Scotland’s Jenny Graham, which she made in the year 2018.

According to the information, Lael Wilcox cycled for 14 hours every day. Wilcox crossed 21 countries on four continents on 28 May this year and reached Chicago on Wednesday (11 September). During this journey, she cycled for 14 hours every day. Cycling Weekly magazine editor Anne Marije Rook has said that Wilcox has been able to achieve her goal due to her physical stamina and mental strength.

Wilcox’s visit
According to the rules of the Guinness Book, the cyclist has to start the journey from one place and return to the same place and Wilcox has followed this rule very well. After starting the journey from Chicago, Wilcox reached New York, then from there she went to Germany, Alps, Balkans, Turkey and then Georgia and then Australia. Where she traveled till Brisbane. After that she reached New Zealand, Los Angeles and then back to Chicago.

Wilcox, who made her place in the Guinness Book, is also the first female rider to win the approximately 6,400 kilometer bicycle race across America. She has also set a record in the Tour Divider, a difficult mountain bicycle race. However, Wilcox says that her recent world record is her biggest achievement.
