According to the report of Timesofindia, this bird imitates the sounds of 35 other birds, 3 mammals and 2 frogs. Sameera Agnihotri, who has a master’s degree in Wildlife and Conservation from the National Center for Biological Sciences, Bengaluru, did three experiments on this bird. A year-long study was conducted in which they found that this bird can copy the sounds of 35 other birds and can also copy the sounds of some mammals and frogs.
