Jamui:- A large area in Jamui district of Bihar is covered with forests. There are many such mysteries among these forests, which you will be surprised to know. There is a cave in the forests of Jamui, which is called the path to Patal. It is said that till date whoever has gone to this cave has never been able to return. Not only this, such figures have been made on the walls of this cave, which no one has been able to understand till date. People also consider divine power to be the reason behind this and many stories are also popular among the people about it. The people here are so scared of this cave that people have closed the mouth of this cave with a big stone.

The whole procession had disappeared
Locals told Local 18 that whoever went into this cave could never come out. Many years ago, a bride, her groom and about 15 wedding guests were going on a palanquin. It was evening and it started raining, so they decided to stop there and sat in this cave. After a while, people came to know that the bride had disappeared. Soon the groom also disappeared and after some time all the baraatis also mysteriously disappeared. The next morning when the villagers came to know about this, when people reached there, they saw that there were pictures of the groom, bride, palanquin and their baraatis on the wall of the cave, after which people named it “Kohbar”. An atmosphere of fear is also seen among the people here regarding this cave.

I am so scared of the cave, no one even says anything
There is a tribal settlement around this cave, in which about 15 tribal families live. These families are so afraid of this cave that people avoid even talking about it. The situation is such that people grazing cattle go around the cave during the day, but after evening no one goes near it. Tribal people told Local 18 that there was so much darkness inside the cave and the tunnel was so deep that one was scared to look at it. Later, with the help of local people and tribal people, the mouth of the cave was filled with stones and soil. This cave of Jamui district holds so many secrets inside it that you will be surprised to know about it. Although this cave is located in the middle of the forest and there are lush green forests all around it and the natural beauty here is worth seeing. But the story of this cave built in the middle of the forests is told a lot in the surrounding villages.
