This child once used to play cricket in the streets of Kanpur and Gorakhpur, now he has become a British MP

There is a festive atmosphere in Kanpur and Gorakhpur due to the victory of the Labour Party, because Navendu Mishra, who is of Indian origin, has become the MP from Stockport seat of Britain. 

Used to play cricket in childhood
Navendu Mishra (35), who was elected MP for the second time from Stockport seat, was born in Kanpur in 1989, his maternal grandparents live in Gorakhpur. The victory is being celebrated in both cities. Mishra’s maternal uncle, social worker and businessman Nilendra Pandey, who lives in Lucknow, said that some people in Gorakhpur, Lucknow and Kanpur celebrated his victory by distributing sweets and bursting crackers. His maternal uncle says that Navendu loved playing cricket with his friends in childhood.

He became MP for the first time in 2019
His maternal uncle says that Mishra went to Britain at the age of four. His father was a marketing manager in Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited and after that he went to UK to take charge of a British company. Mishra grew up in Britain with his brother and sister. Navendu Mishra completed his studies from London and then entered the field of politics. In the 2019 elections, he was elected to the ‘House of Commons’ from Stockport seat. Pandey told that Mishra came into politics through the labor union movement in Stockport.

By how many votes did Navendu win?
He has become MP from Stockport seat for the second time with a record margin of votes. He has won by the highest margin of 16000 votes. Whereas no other MP has been able to win by a margin of more than 1000 to 1500 votes.
