This couple likes the peace of the area very much and people on social media also express surprise at their lifestyle.

Tara and Keith Gaudet enjoy spending time at their remote home in the marshes of Louisiana, where they cook dinner, hunting wildlife, and spending their days fishing. The area is so remote that it cannot be reached by cars. The couple work in the oil industry. He splits his time between the houseboat and another home in Houma due to his work schedule, but if he had his way, he would live in the swamp full-time.
