Soaked rice – 1 cup
Water – 2 cups

Coconut – 1/4 cup

How to make Hariyali Pulavat

First of all, put ghee in the cooker. When the ghee is hot, add bay leaves, green cardamom, cinnamon stick and 2 cloves in it.
Now add chopped onion and fry till it turns golden.
– When the onion is fried, add the ground mint-coriander paste to it and fry the paste while stirring it well. (Prepare this paste by grinding mint, coriander, garlic, green chillies, ginger and coconut in a mixer. If you are in a hurry in the morning, you can prepare this paste at night as well.)
– When the masala is roasted, add chopped vegetables i.e. chopped carrots, potatoes and beans. After adding the vegetables, add salt to it as per taste.
– When the vegetables are cooked in the spices for a while, add the soaked rice. Add 2 cups of water and stir the rice well.
