If your child is also snoring while sleeping, then you should get him checked, he may be suffering from a disease like obstructive sleep apnea.

What came out in the research< /strong>

The Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital recently conducted a research on 276 children. In this research, he found that many children snore while sleeping. Most of these snoring children are victims of obstructive sleep apnea. The age of these children was between 3 years to 12 years. Actually, due to this disease, the way of breathing becomes narrow and because of this, when children breathe while sleeping, there is a sound of snoring. It was also revealed in this research that children who are overweight are more at risk of this disease.

What is its treatment

A trial was also conducted on its treatment by The Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital. In which 276 children were given a nasal spray to get rid of this disease of snoring. According to the report that came in this research, in 40% of the cases, the nasal spray worked correctly and this snoring problem was removed from inside the children. However, if this problem worsens, then surgery is required.

What is surgery

If your child has obstructive sleep apnea? If the child is suffering from diabetes and his disease is not being cured by nasal spray or medicines, then the child’s tonsils and adenoids are removed by surgery. It takes more than 1 year for the child to emerge from this surgery. This is the reason why most of the parents avoid the operation. However, sometimes when children are sick or have run too much during the day, they can still snore at night while sleeping. Therefore, if this snoring of children is not regular, then you do not need to worry much. However, if you want, you can also consult a good doctor about it.
