Jhansi: There have been many incidents of fire in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh in the last one year. Many times it takes time for the fire department vehicles to reach the narrow streets of Jhansi. Due to this, the fire takes a horrific form. Now the youth in Jhansi have designed a drone that is capable of reaching before the fire department and extinguishing the fire. This drone will also help in controlling the fire.
Drone will extinguish the fire
This drone has been prepared by the youth and teachers in the drone club formed in Jhansi-based Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET). A special box has been installed in this drone. Carbon dioxide balls or spheres are kept inside this box. This ball is dropped at the place where there is a fire. This can control the fire to some extent. The students have made this drone at the cost of about 40 thousand rupees. Preparations are also underway to get this drone patented.

Drone Club in-charge Dr. Sunil Kumar Gupta said that this drone has been made to prevent incidents of fire. It has been named firefighting drone. It is capable of extinguishing fire anywhere within a radius of 5 kilometers. This will make the work of the fire department much easier. The test of its prototype has been successful. Now its design is being prepared to be launched in the market after making a deal with a private company.
