This family has been making pakoras and mirchi bade for 4 generations, the taste is so delicious that you will keep licking your fingers

Bhilwara: Shahpura princely state of Bhilwara district is not only famous for its historical heritage, but is also famous for its delicious dishes. Especially the pakodas and sweet and sour mirchi bada of “Sohan ji pakoda-bhujia wala” are unique. For nearly four generations, this family has been making pakodas in their old and traditional ways, and its taste is such that even the then kings and Maharajas of Shahpura used to enjoy their pakodas.

Even today, there is no officer or person in Shahpura who is not crazy about the pakodas made by them. The most special thing is that their Mirchi Bada has a unique taste of sweet and sour, which people especially like. This is the reason why the popularity of their pakodas and Mirchi Bada is still intact.

We have been making dumplings for four generations
Vineet Gaur, who is making pakodas as the fourth generation, said that our family has been making pakodas and mirchi bade for 130 years, for four consecutive generations. Here, we get a good response from the people of Shahpura city for the taste of our pakodas, if someone comes to us once, he never goes anywhere else again. The taste of pakodas is such that people become crazy about it, not only this, whether it is a common man or an officer of the city, every person is fond of the taste of our pakodas.

Even the officer is dependent on taste –
Vineet says that not only this, the then District Collector Manju Rajpal has also tasted our pakodas. Apart from this, the former Chief Medical and Health Officer, not only this, any officer who comes here for posting does not leave without tasting the pakodas from our place. Apart from this, even if he goes to any other city, he definitely gets pakodas packed from our place. During the rainy season, the situation is such that people crowd here to eat pakodas and disputes take place.

Who among the people will take the pakoras to their home first? And not just that, people wait for their turn for about half an hour. And along with that, we celebrate Mirchi Bade with dried mango chutney which has a sweet and sour taste and people like this Mirchi Bade a lot.

Even kings and Maharajas have been fed pakodas
Pakora maker Laxman Gaur says that this has been going on since the time of the then kings and Maharajas of Shahpura state and our grandfather has given the taste of our pakoras to the then king Umed Singh ji since the time of the kings and Maharajas. In those days, the royal family used to give us 1 rupee per month. After which we used to make pakoras for the special Bogra Khas Maharajas of that time. At that time, when the kings used to go for hunting and after hunting, when they returned to the palace, they would definitely ask for our pakoras. Since then, it has become the first choice among the people. For 130 years, our 4 generations have been making Aloo Mirchi Pakora and Mirchi Bade Shahpura Trimurti Chowraha Pakora.
