This is how Champaran famous Anarsa sweet is made
Lakshmi, a resident of Chanpatia and a trader of famous Anarsa sweets, says that to make it, first of all rice has to be puffed in water and grinded well in the mixer. Keep in mind that do not use Usna rice (coarse rice) in this. After grinding in the mixer, mix the rice powder with sugar syrup and beat it well. Keep in mind that this mixture should neither be too loose nor too tight. After fattening, it has to be left like that for the whole night. The next day, take semolina and white sesame seeds in a plate, wrap the prepared mixture lightly in it and fry in hot oil. After putting it in oil, it will start to swell. When it turns light brown after blooming, filter it and then start serving.
This sweet is sold for Rs 70 per kg
Lakshmi told that this sweet made in Chanpatia is famous in the whole district. Its cost is just Rs 70 per kg. This sweet is made in the houses of almost all the businessmen of Chanpatia. Especially it is given as a gift to daughters-in-law at the time of marriage or on normal days while returning to their in-laws house. The thing to keep in mind while making this is that if you use 1 kg of rice, then it has to be mixed in 600 grams of sugar syrup. Significantly, 2 kg of Anarsa sweets will be prepared from this.
