You can search your name online like this
If you want to see your name in the voter list before the elections. So for that you can check online. For this you will have to go to the official website electoralsearch.eci.gov.in. By going to the site you will be given three types of options to find your name. In which you can check your name through your details, you can check it through Electronic Photo Identity Card i.e. EPIC and finally you can also check your name through your mobile number.
In the first option, you will have to search by entering your name, date of birth, age, name and gender of any relative, location and name of your constituency assembly. In the EPIC option, you will have to select your EPIC number and state. So in the same phone option, you can check your name in the voter list by choosing your state and entering your phone number.
Check your name offline like this
Apart from the online process, you can also check your name in the voter list offline. For that you will have to send text message to 921172 8082 or 1950. In which you will have to enter your Voter ID number by writing EPIC. After this, all your details will come on your registered mobile number. In which polling number and voter name will also be written. If you do not receive the message then understand that your name is not in the voter list.
