Cart owner Ashraf told Local 18 that he has been installing this cart in Dehradun for the last 8 years. He has 20 years of experience in making Maharashtrian dishes, due to which he is serving the authentic taste of Maharashtra to the customers in Doon. Bombay Sandwich, Bhelpuri, Dabeli are prepared here. The hottest selling item on this cart is Dabeli. Customers like its taste so much that people from every corner of Dehradun come to eat it. Here Dabeli starts from Rs 30 to Rs 80.
How is Dabeli made?
Dabeli is a Maharashtrian dish. If it is understood in simple words, it will look like a burger from outside, but Aloo Tikki is not used in it. Instead of this, sweet potato-tomato chutney, green chutney, tamarind chutney, chopped vegetables, peanuts, namkeen, sauce and cheese are used.
