Let us tell you that the world’s deepest metro station is located in China, which is known as Hongyancun station. The depth of this station is up to 106 meters. This is the reason why it is called the deepest metro station in the world.
According to the information, this metro station is built on Line No. 9 of Chongqing Rail Transit in Chongqing Corporation area, which was opened to the general public in the year 2022. There is also a point at this metro station, which is at a depth of 116 meters. However, the distance from the ground to the railway track has been measured at 106 meters, due to which it has broken the record of Hongtudi metro station built on Line-10 in China.
