This king had trained his army in martial arts, never wore a crown after sitting on the throne

If we look closely at history, we will come to know how many brave Maharajas there were in our history. Whose stories are still on people’s lips even after centuries. Today we are going to tell about one such king, who fought his first war at the age of 10 and sat on the throne at the age of 12. However, even after sitting on the throne, he never wore a crown.

This king had given martial arts training to the army.
Maharaja Ranjit Singh, famous as Sher-e-Punjab, is considered the founder of the Sikh Empire. He started Sikh rule in the 19th century. Ranjit Singh had lost one of his eyes due to smallpox in his childhood. Still he is considered one of the most efficient rulers. He united the entire Punjab and established the Sikh state. Maharaja Ranjit Singh fought many battles against the Afghans and conquered Pashtun areas including Peshawar. This was the first time that a non-Muslim had ruled the Pashtuns.

He trained his army in martial arts and prepared the Sikh Khalsa Army. This army helped them a lot in winning every war.

Never wore the crown after sitting on the throne
It is said that Maharaja Ranjit Singh never wore the crown even after sitting on the throne. The reason for this is quite interesting. Actually Ranjit Singh believes that in Sikhism everyone is equal before God. That’s why he never wore a crown. The most interesting thing is that the world’s rarest Kohinoor diamond was once a part of Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s treasury. This great ruler did not allow the British to capture Punjab till he breathed his last in Lahore.
