While talking exclusively to Local-18, Sudhir Kumar, owner of Lal Kurti Hariya Lassi, said that he started this journey of making lassi 60 years ago. Even then he had not thought that people would like this lassi so much. He said that there is a special focus on maintaining the quality. You will also find its branches in Shastri Nagar, Hapur Adda and Delhi Road of Meerut. Where people are seen enjoying lassi.
This is how lassi is prepared
Sudhir Kumar tells that curd is used to make lassi. It is put in the machine and mixed with sugar and ice and then rotated in the machine for a long time. When the lassi is prepared properly, then it is kept in a kulhar. Then barfi mawa is added to it. Due to which the taste of lassi becomes even more special. He tells that the curd and mawa he uses to prepare lassi, he prepares it inside his shop itself.
There is also a special arrangement for packing
Sudhir Kumar tells that whoever takes lassi to their home, special packing arrangements have been made for them. In which a lot of ice is kept in the Kulhar containing lassi. So that whoever takes lassi with that Kulhar, its taste remains the same. Arvind, who came to drink lassi, tells that the kind of taste of lassi that Hariya has, is not found anywhere in the city. In such a situation, when any guest comes to his house, he gets the lassi packed from here and takes it. Let us tell you that if you also want to enjoy this lassi, then you will have to spend 80 rupees for it.
