This medical college will prepare doctors for free, you will not have to pay tuition fees, this is why the decision was taken

In today’s time, medical education is not within the reach of common people. Tuition fees worth lakhs of rupees, hostel expenses and on top of that such expensive copy-books. In India, the fees for MBBS in government medical colleges is up to Rs 10 lakh, whereas in medical colleges it is up to Rs 60 lakh. There is expenditure from behind, there is no accounting of it. But a college has announced that it will prepare doctors for free and will not charge a single penny from the students in the name of tuition fees. The reason for this is also very special.

According to a BBC report, this college is in New York City, America. Its name is Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Here, every year 59,000 dollars i.e. about Rs 48.87 lakh is taken from a student in the name of tuition fees, due to which the students incur a lot of debt. Now the college administration has decided to waive the tuition fees of the students for a special reason.

College received 1 billion dollars donation
In fact, when David Sandy Gottesman, a prominent Wall Street investor, passed away recently, it was revealed that he had invested a lot of money in the stock market. The price was so high that even his wife, Dr. Ruth Gottesman, a former Bronx School professor, was shocked. After this he decided to donate 1 billion dollars to Albert Einstein College of Medicine. This amount was so much that he talked about giving free education to the children. Only after that the college took this decision.

American school received the biggest donation
Dean of the university, Dr. Yaron Yomer said that this is the largest donation received by any American school. He said, we are going to waive the tuition fees of final year students. After this, all the students who take admission next year will not have to pay tuition fees. This donation will free our students from debt. They will be able to focus on research. Their mental development will be better. Dr. Gottesman said, I am thankful to my husband for giving me such an important gift.

so that they can get free tuition
About 50% of the first-year students at Albert Einstein College of Medicine are from New York, and 60% of them are girls. 29% students have come from many Asian countries including India, China, Japan. About 16% are African. Dr. Gottesman said, I wanted to fund students at Einstein so that they could get free tuition. I had enough money to do so and that’s what I did. I hope my husband is smiling wherever he is. You will definitely not be angry.
