Long legs are considered good for modelling along with a well shaped and fit body. For girls who want to become model, having super long legs seems like a dream. But for one model, this is turning out to be a bad experience. A 6 foot 5 inch woman admitted that her long legs often create problems for her and she is not even able to find a wedding dress that fits her properly.
Miyuki Sayama often stands out from the crowd because of her striking figure. The 6ft 5in woman from Ohio, USA, has legs so long that they are more than two-thirds of her height. Shopping for Miyuki is “almost impossible”. It is not only impossible for her to find clothes that fit properly, but also to find clothes that fit her correctly.
Now, the bride-to-be is facing her biggest clothing challenge yet. Finding her wedding dress. Miyuki told Truly TV that she previously found it difficult to find love because of her height. She has found that most dresses do not reach past her ankles.
Talking about the problems she faced, Miyuki said. “I have a lot of problems with my height, I hit my head every day… I was very shy about my height – everyone is normal height and I am just like a mountain.” She says people call her “chop stick” or “giraffe”. “I hate it,” she said. “I am too close to the sky.”
The tall woman, who has found modelling jobs because of her height, is delighted to meet her 6ft 3in partner Trevor. “I think he’s beautiful and I love everything about him,” she said. The couple married during the Covid-19 pandemic but are now planning a big ceremony with their loved ones. Despite the obstacles, Miyuki is embracing her height now more than ever. She often makes her own clothes. And she has even launched her own website.
