Satyam Katiyar/Farrukhabad: Whenever samosas are mentioned, it can never happen that Farrukhabad’s name is not mentioned. Because the samosas here and its taste are unique. Because in Farrukhabad samosas you get spicy cheese rich in taste along with potatoes. Prateek Mishtan Bhandar shop at Kamalganj intersection of Farrukhabad was started in 2005. From then till today, times have changed and years have changed, but the amazing taste of the samosas of their shop still remains intact.
Shopkeeper Prateek Halwai told Local 18 that preparations for making samosas are done at his shop from morning to afternoon. At the same time, customers start coming from noon and this sequence of sales continues till ten o’clock in the night. Here each plate of samosas is available for Rs 10. In which two samosas and special chutney are given to the customers. The way there is a crowd of customers here is the reason why about one thousand to fifteen hundred samosas are sold here every day.
Special spices are prepared at home.
Shopkeeper Prateek Halwai told that he buys spices from the market and cleans and grinds them properly. Then mix it in the same proportion to make the samosa mixture. Also prepare chutney.

The shopkeeper told that to make samosas, black pepper, ginger, saute, cumin, celery, green peas and cheese along with salt, jaljeera, flour and jaggery and chilli and coriander are used. He prepares all these masalas and adds them to boiled potatoes. After this, with the help of flour, prepare round tikkis. In which the mixture prepared from this spice is filled and fried in hot oil. When the samosas are cooked properly they turn red. So these are taken out and eaten with chutney.
