Bhopal. A survey has been started to make Bhopal beggar-free. In which many children, old people and women were seen begging. To stop this, the administration has decided to make a profile for everyone. All the squares, intersections, crossroads, religious places, railway stations, bus stands and all types of social places are being monitored. More than 200 beggars have been caught on the first day of the survey. In which the maximum number of beggars have been identified from Govindpura division. Their number is around 130 so far.
they all come from the same place
More than 200 people have been identified in the survey conducted on the first day in the city. Most of the beggars have been identified from a colony in Gandhi Nagar. Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh said that this survey will be conducted for three days. Which will be completed jointly by SDM, Tehsildar and Social Justice Department. After the survey, work will be done on the complete housing of these people.
Beggars will be connected to the main stream
Measures will be taken for survey, identification, mobilization, rehabilitation and livelihood to connect beggars to the mainstream of society. Tehsildars of Govindpura, Kolar, Bairagarh, Huzur, MP Nagar, City, TT Nagar tehsils have been given the responsibility of surveying beggars. After the survey, children will be enrolled in schools to provide them good education. Along with this, the rest will also be taught proper work and will be given employment.
