Dadhich says that millet contains abundant amounts of dietary fiber which is beneficial in digestion, which reduces cholesterol levels and prevents the risk of heart diseases.
It is also very beneficial for diseases like high blood pressure and asthma. Its use is also considered very good for protecting the liver. There is so much iron in millet that diseases caused by anemia do not occur.
How to make Rabri
Wash the millet thoroughly, drain it and after some time grind it coarsely with the help of a mortar or mixer, after which add coarsely ground millet to fresh curd or buttermilk. Add salt and some sugar. While cooking on low flame, some people also add milk and ghee in it. While Rabri will be good for your stomach, it will also work to increase energy in the body.
