There are many important places in Farrukhabad. Where papdi is sold every day. In which good sales are seen in Kamalganj, Mohammadabad, Fatehgarh, Kampil and Farrukhabad cities. Rakesh Kumar, a papdi shopkeeper from Jahanganj town of Farrukhabad, tells. That he has been setting up a papdi shop here for the last 30 years. They prepare the spices by grinding them with their own hands. As soon as the shop is set up in the morning, there is a crowd of customers. At times when sales are good, 200 to 300 papdis are sold daily. There is good sale according to the season. At such times, he earns two to three thousand rupees per day. Fifty to sixty thousand rupees are also saved in a month.

Papdi is prepared in round shape from wheat flour. A mixture is made by mixing the same vegetables. In which along with seasoning of lemon and spicy spices, green vegetables are added in the form of salad. Curd is used later. Which enhances its taste. To prepare papdi, first of all take boiled potatoes, gram, onion, tomato and green chillies along with coriander, lemon, black salt, cumin, red chilli, jaljeera, wheat flour and soybean oil. Along with tomatoes, ground special spices are used.
