There are many such shops in the walled market of Jaipur where Ghevar sweets have been prepared for almost 70 years. Similarly, there is a small shop called Ghevar Bhandar located in Ghatgate market of Jaipur. Which was started in 1975 and Ghevar is made here throughout the year.

Satyanarayan Pitalia, who has been running a Ghevar shop for years, says that Ghevar is such a unique sweet whose taste is also different. But it is prepared in 10 types according to its size. Which also has different varieties.

This sweet is made starting from small size to big size. In which its price changes. Satyanarayan Pitaliya says that Ghevar is the same but its name changes depending on its size. Like Mini Ghevar, Mawa Ghevar, Paneer Ghevar, Fika Ghevar, Dry Fruits Ghevar and Rabdi Ghevar which are prepared with both pure desi ghee and refined. Whose prices vary.

This sweet is sold for Rs 300 to Rs 1500 per kg.
Ghevar is such a unique sweet. Which is sold very expensive. Let us tell you that the smaller the ghevar is, the higher its price. Its price is different during normal days and different during festive season. Satyanarayan Pitaliya says that normally the price of Ghevar starts from Rs 300 per kg, which are bland Ghevar. After that, there are different prices according to the syrup and different ghevar. Which ranges up to Rs 1500 per kg.

Let us tell you that Ghevar sweets are specially prepared in different moulds. Ghevar is made by adding ghee to a solution of milk and flour. After preparing the batter properly, it is fried in ghee or oil in a hot pan and then dipped in syrup. Then it is prepared and decorated in different ways as per the demand.
