To make this, take 500 grams of baby onion, 50 grams of green chilies, 15 grams of ginger, 1 tablespoon of red chili powder, 1 tablespoon of coriander powder, 2 tablespoons of dry mango powder, salt as per taste, mustard oil as per requirement, 1 teaspoon of fennel, 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds, 2 pinches of asafoetida, 7-8 whole red chilies. After this, you can start the recipe.
Method of making pickled onions by splitting them
To make onion pickle by breaking it, first take small onions. Now peel all of them and break them with the help of something. When all the onions are broken, grate the ginger as well. Now keep both these things in a vessel. Then take onion, ginger and green chilli and mix red chilli powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder and salt in it.
After this, take a pan in which we will heat oil. When the oil is heated properly, add mustard seeds, fennel seeds, asafoetida and whole red chillies and make a tadka (tempering). Now pour this tempering over the onions and mix it well. In this way, your delicious spicy onion pickle is now ready. Now you can serve it with food at any time.
