Material
1 cup lentils
3 drumstick pods
1 onion
1 tomato
small piece of ginger
3 or 4 bean pods
1 tablespoon ghee
half teaspoon black pepper
salt as per taste

How to make Drumstick-Lentil Soup

  1. First of all wash the pulses and vegetables.
  2. Now cut all the vegetables like drumstick, tomato, pyar, bean pods etc. into medium size.
  3. Put a cooker on the gas. Add some ghee in it. Add onion, drumstick pod, tomato, ginger and beans in it.
  4. Now add washed lentils into it.
  5. On top, you can add salt, black pepper and if you want, some other spices of your choice.
  6. Now add water to it and put the lid of the cooker. Take at least 2 to 3 whistles.
  7. Blend this dal made in the cooker in a mixer and filter it.
  8. Filtering will make this soup smooth. After filtering, boil it once again.
  9. Your soup is ready.
