How to make dal rice in a cooker?
1. For this, first of all you have to wash and clean both lentils and rice. Now first of all put the lentils in the cooker along with water, salt, turmeric, green chillies and tomatoes.

2. Now in the second step, you have to fill the rice in a pot or any vessel that can easily fit inside the cooker. For this, you have to fill the vessel with rice and water and put it in the cooker.

3. First you put lentils in the cooker, now peel 2-3 potatoes and put them in the lentils. Now put the rice container inside the cooker. If the rice container has a lid, then put the lid on it, otherwise put a plate which is slightly bigger than the rice container, i.e. one which covers the rice.

4. In this way all three of your things will come together in the same cooker. Now you have to close the lid of the cooker. After putting the lid on the cooker, put the cooker on the gas. Keep in mind, if two items are being cooked together in the cooker, then the gas has to be kept low. You have to keep the cooker on the flame for about 30 to 35 minutes, because the flame is low, so it will take time for the whistle to come. When 3 whistles come in the cooker, turn off the gas. Wait for the gas to come out of the cooker, open the cooker carefully after 5-7 minutes.

5. Now first of all take out the rice vessel, take out the vessel with the help of a cloth or tongs, otherwise your hand may get burnt. After this take out the potatoes with a spoon. Keep the lentils in the cooker, heat oil in a tadka pan and fry cumin seeds and asafoetida in it, add this tempering to the lentils and temper them. Mash the potatoes and add salt, green chillies and onion to it and make chokha. Your lentil, rice and potato chokha is ready in the same cooker.
