In every area there are stalls ranging from local Bhunja vendors to Banarasi Bhunja vendors. But today we are talking about a Bhunja seller whose Bhunja is roasted in salt. Pankaj sells this bhunja at the old court gate of Madhepura. Pankaj sells Bhunja worth two to three thousand rupees in just 4 hours. Due to earning a good amount from this, he is coming from Nawada district and selling Bhunja in Madhepura.

Pankaj tells that along with selling Bhunja, he also studies. These days they prepare for railway loco pilots. According to Pankaj, due to poor financial condition of the house, he has to sell corn along with his studies. He sends some part of his earnings home and also spends some part on his younger brother’s education. They set up a stall near Madhepura Old Court from 4 pm to 9 pm. They have eight flavors of Bhunja, which is made from gram, peanuts, mudhi, chiura, maize etc. 100 grams of Bhunja is fed for Rs 20.

There are fans from laborers to officers
The special thing about Pankaj’s Bhunja is that his fans range from laborers to officers. People from every section of the society eat their prepared bhunja every day. Be it by coming to their stall or sitting at home after getting the parcel delivered. People who eat Bhunja say that there is negligible use of oil and spices in Pankaj’s Bhunja. Which is also better for health. This is the reason why Pankaj’s Bhunja parcel goes from the court to other offices.
