STF has arrested three members of an international gang involved in smuggling of banned drugs from near Tata Telco Company located in Chinhat police station area. 13,500 tablets of the drug Tramadol have been recovered from the three. All three smugglers Sahil alias Haider Ali alias Sahil Maska, Abdullah Suhail alias Andha and Mohammad Enaf alias Danish Kalia are residents of the Madeyganj area of the capital.
STF Deputy SP Deepak Singh said that information was received about Sahil, a member of this gang, that he was going to meet his associates near the gate of Tata Telco Company in Chinhat. STF along with the team of Food and Drug Administration Department went to the spot and caught all three. During interrogation, the accused told that their gang smuggles drugs banned internationally.
Sahil and Abdullah collect data of customers from India, USA and many other countries through dark web and white web websites. After this, they contact the customers by getting virtual numbers through applications like Text Now, Second Line App etc. They provide drugs to the customers who need drugs by taking money from them through payment gateways like Cash App, Venmo, PayPal. There is a huge profit in this. STF has registered a case in Chinhat police station.
A big racket is going on in Khadra
According to STF, a big drug smuggling racket is going on in Khadra area. The youths involved in this collect data of customers through computers throughout the night and supply them through couriers. Let us tell you that recently the Mumbai NCB team also raided the Khadra area. After a large consignment of drugs was recovered at Mumbai airport, the team came to Lucknow for investigation. STF is trying to find out who supplies drugs to these youths.
