Many lives in tiger attacks

According to the report, 300 lives have been lost across the country in tiger attacks from 2020 to 2023. At the same time, human deaths have declined by 58 percent in 2023 as compared to 2022. Whereas, the cases of humans killing in elephants have increased by 36 percent in 10 states. The report says that there are 16 states of the country where there is a conflict between humans and elephants. & Nbsp;

Many elephants also died

According to the State of India Environment Report, cases of elephants’ deaths have also increased in two years. In 2019-20, 99 elephants died across the country. In 2023-24, this figure increased to 121. In this, 94 elephants died of electric current. The maximum 80 deaths occurred in the state of Kerala. & Nbsp;

In 2023-24, there have been more than half of the total deaths in elephant attacks in Odisha, Bengal and Jharkhand. Whereas, 752 tigers have died in the last 4 years. The shocking thing in the case of tigers is that only 53 tigers were hunted, while the cause of the death of 431 tigers is not known.
