Following the instructions of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the Education Department has changed the timing of schools. This also came into effect from today. Now the first hour in schools will start at 10 am instead of 9.30 am. The eighth bell will end at 1:00 pm. After the uproar by the opposition in the Assembly, Education Minister Vijay Chaudhary said that earlier the school timing was from 9:30 in the morning to 5 in the evening. On the demand of teachers union and opposition MLAs, the time Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s instructions But it was done at 10 o’clock. After this, the Education Department issued a letter changing the timings.

The Education Minister said that today Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced in the House that classes in schools will start from 10 am and teachers will have to reach 15 minutes earlier. Now this rule will apply. After this the opposition MLAs started creating ruckus. Let us tell you that as per the earlier notification number-2707, 28 November 2023 issued by the Education Department, the first bell of studies started at 09.30 am and the eighth bell ended at 03.30 pm. It is now clarified that the first bell will start at 10 am and the eighth bell will end at 4 pm.

  • First bell from 10 am to 10.40 am
  • Second bell from 10.40 am to 11.20 am
  • Third bell from 11.20 am to 12.10 pm
  • Fourth bell 12.10 pm to 12.50 pm
  • Intermission 12.50 pm to 01.30 pm
  • Fifth bell from 01.30 pm to 02.10 pm
  • Sixth bell from 02.10 pm to 02.50 pm
  • Seventh bell from 02.50 pm to 03.30 pm
  • Eighth bell from 03.30 pm to 04.00 pm
