More than Rs 12,000 crore of Tirupati temple is estimated to be deposited as fixed deposits in different banks. According to a report of November 2020, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has 1128 immovable properties across the country, which are spread over a total of 8,088.89 acres of land.

Does Tirupati Balaji give loans to temples? According to the information, the money and gold of the temples are deposited with many banks. Every year the temple receives several thousand crore rupees only as interest from the banks. But there is no concrete information about whether loans are given to banks on behalf of Tirupati Balaji temple.
