TMC MP Dev clashes with party colleague Kunal Ghosh over inauguration program said this is not cinema

Kunal Ghosh On Deepak Adhikari: A war of words broke out between TMC leaders Kunal Ghosh and Deepak Adhikari alias Dev over the protest against the rape-murder case of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata. In fact, a war of words broke out between TMC MP Deepak Adhikari and Kunal Ghosh over the inauguration of dialysis and scan machine facilities at a hospital in West Bengal.

According to a Hindustan Times report, on Facebook and Xpost, Ghosh posted a picture of a plaque that bears the official’s name as having inaugurated the facilities on September 4. It was juxtaposed with another plaque bearing West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s name. However, the picture shows that she inaugurated the facilities on March 11 this year.

Know what Kunal Ghosh said?

TMC leader Kuna Ghosh posted on Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) that though Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had inaugurated the dialysis unit on March 12, now our MP Dev has inaugurated it for the second time. This has surprised the locals. Can this be done to be a superstar in films? You look like a real hero, not just a reel hero!

Neither the Chief Minister nor the MP will take advantage of these facilities- Dev Adhikari

Dev hit back at Kunal Ghosh’s post regarding this. Actor-turned-MP Deepak Adhikari alias Dev said that Didi (Mamata Banerjee) had made an announcement about setting up facilities at Ghatal Hospital on March 11. However, when the machines arrived last week, I personally inaugurated them on the request of the hospital authorities. The fact is that neither the Chief Minister nor the MP will benefit from these facilities. Rather, the common man will benefit from this.

This is not cinema – Kunal Ghosh

Reacting to this comment, TMC leader Kunal Ghosh said that it is clear from the pictures that an inauguration cannot happen twice with two different inaugurators. This is not cinema. While we, the infantry, are fighting the attacks, you are associating with those who speak ill of the government under the guise of professional relations and courtesy.
