Parliament Winter Session 2024: During the winter session of the Lok Sabha, Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Monday (16 December 2024) targeted the Modi government at the Center on many issues including inflation, unemployment. Taking a dig at the central government, Siyani Ghosh said, “Why is Vishwaguru (PM Modi) not able to solve the inflation crisis?” During this, he also talked about the money given for Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, unemployment etc.
‘My love will take revenge for my rejection…’
The TMC MP started his speech with Thukra’s dialogue ‘Mera Pyaar Mera Intekaam Dekhegi’, after which applause started in the Parliament. He said, “Today the common man is not boarding an airplane wearing slippers, rather he is boarding an airplane by selling slippers. Nowadays in the new India, trains run less on the tracks and more outside the tracks. The people of India are so hungry that they have to eat. The youth also ask me that PM Modi had promised 20 crore jobs every year, that is, what happened to them? We fall, but some pick it up, everyone makes promises, some keep them.”
Targeted the central government regarding inflation
Speaking on inflation, he said, “The price of tomato has increased by 247 percent. The price of potato has increased by 180 percent, the price of oil, salt, flour has increased by 18 percent. Now people carry money in their bags and go home with potatoes and tomatoes in their pockets.” Let’s bring.” Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had described inflation as a global problem, on which the TMC MP taunted and said, why are Vishwa Gurus and Vishwa Bandhu not able to solve this international problem. 74 percent of the people in the country are not able to take a healthy diet.”
The Trinamool Congress MP said, “The Prime Minister says Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, if it is so then why are people leaving India today.
