Nagaur. The marriage that took place last days in Banwada village of Riyambadi tehsil is still being discussed in the area. In fact, on last Friday, the niece of social worker Ghanshyam Singh was married in the village. In the marriage, the groom brought a helicopter and took the bride. The special thing is that the bride does not have a father and when he was alive, he wished that his Lado’s farewell should be done by helicopter. When the groom came to know about this, he booked a helicopter to fulfill the wish of his late father-in-law and came to Banwada village with the procession.
Brought a helicopter but did not take dowry
The special thing about this marriage was that this marriage took place without dowry. The bridegroom did not take dowry in the marriage and took only one rupee and coconut in the form of neg. However, five lakh rupees were presented as dowry from the bride’s side in the vaccine. But, the relatives of the groom refused to accept them. Groom’s father Nand Singh Rajawat told that dowry is the biggest evil in present times. All people should come forward and play their role in ending this practice.
This marriage procession that came from Madhogarh in Alwar is now being discussed in the entire region. People are appreciating the groom Robin Singh Rajawat and his family members. Groom Robin Singh is working in the Indian Army. Here, when the helicopter arrived in the village, a crowd of villagers gathered and the villagers took selfies with the helicopter.
