Buffalo Farming: Along with agriculture, the trend of animal husbandry is increasing in the country. The demand for pure-fresh milk is increasing in the cities, to meet which now dairy farms are being opened in the rural areas near the cities. Murrah Buffalo
Murrah is also known as the king of buffaloes. It is also known as the world’s largest milch animal, which can produce 30 liters or more milk daily. Murrah buffalo was earlier limited only to North India, but in many areas of the country now dairy farms are taking profit of crores from Murrah buffalo. Include this buffalo in your fleet and take good care of it, then within a year you will get more profit than expected.

Mehsana Buffalo
Mehsana buffalo is very popular in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Black-brown colored Mehsana buffalo gives up to 1500 liters of milk in one bayant. By giving it a balanced diet, it can produce milk up to 20 to 30 liters daily. Surti buffalo also gives as much milk production as Mehsana buffalo. Milk production from Surti and Mehsana buffaloes can be up to 1400 to 1600 liters annually.

Pandharpuri Buffalo
Pandharpuri buffalo is found in all the dairy farms of Maharashtra. It is popular here for its milk production capacity. This buffalo gives an average milk production of 1500 liters every year. Apart from this, Jaffrabadi, Sambhalpuri, Neeli Ravi, Toda, Sakarnath buffaloes also produce 1500 to 2000 liters of milk, but Murrah, Mehsana and Pandharpuri buffaloes are still counted among the top buffaloes when it comes to good advanced breeds.
