In view of the traffic jam in the city due to the Government Industrial and Agricultural Exhibition, the police has made changes in the traffic arrangements. This arrangement will be applicable from 5 pm to 2 am every day from February 1 till the end of the exhibition.
Police officers also went to the exhibition grounds and took stock of the security arrangements. He saw CCTV cameras in the control room. Special vigil will be kept on anti-social elements in the exhibition. SP Traffic Mukesh Chandra Uttam said that the personnel have been given the responsibility to improve the traffic system. All types of vehicles related to ambulance and emergency services will be free from restrictions. He has appealed to the citizens to use alternative routes during the exhibition.
Diversion for heavy vehicles
- Operation of all types of heavy vehicles (roadways bus, private bus, mini bus and commercial) will be restricted from Masoodabad intersection towards Sarsaul intersection.
- Roadways buses coming from Etah and Kanpur will be able to reach Company Bagh, Roadways Bus Stand.
- From Company Bagh itself, the buses will go back to their destination via the new bypass.
- Roadways buses coming from Bulandshahr will be able to reach Sarsaul intersection only. From there it will go to its destination via Nadapul new bypass.
- Roadways buses coming from Agra and Mathura will be able to come only till Companybagh Roadways Bus Stand and will return from there only.
- Heavy vehicles coming from Atrauli via Quarshi intersection will be restricted from entering the city.
