A horrific road accident took place in Mahoba district of UP. A painful accident happened on the Kanpur-Sagar highway on Monday morning. Three including mother-daughter died in Scorpio and car collision. Four people aboard the Scorpio were injured in the accident. Those who have been admitted to Chhatarpur District Hospital in Madhya Pradesh. The accident took place on the highway near the Ujra Power House on the UP-MP border.
Pooja Sen (28), daughter of Halku Sen, a resident of Milkipura in the city, was pregnant. Mother Guddo Sen (55) and driver Devendra were going to Chhatarpur Hospital in Madhya Pradesh by car for delivery. There was a fierce collision with the car coming from the front near Ujra Power House on the highway. The speed of the vehicles was so high that the front part of both was damaged.
The occupants of both the vehicles were trapped inside. On information, the Garhi Malhara police station of Madhya Pradesh pulled out the injured trapped in both the vehicles with the help of passers-by. Car occupant Guddo Sen, his daughter Pooja and driver Devendra died on the spot while the four injured occupants of the Scorpio were rushed to the hospital. There was mourning in the locality due to the death of three including mother and daughter in a road accident. There was hue and cry among the family members. As the incident took place in the Madhya Pradesh region, the police there are investigating.
