TRAI Report declares it jio airtel vi lost lakhs of users and BSNL added lakhs of new users after recharge plans hike in July 2024

BSNL Nowadays, a lot of discussions are heard about BSNL. In fact, ever since Reliance Jio, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone-Idea have increased the price of their recharge plans in July 2024, people have talked a lot about BSNL. Now BSNL has left behind all these private telecom companies in another matter.

The glory of BSNL

After private companies increased the rates of recharge plans by 30%, people started saying on social media that now BSNL is the only option left for them. People were also talking about porting their numbers to BSNL. In many states like Andhra Pradesh, many people had ported their numbers to BSNL and many new users had also joined BSNL.

In this case, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released data for the month of July, which will help you understand everything yourself. According to this data, the number of wireless subscribers in the month of July had decreased to 120.517 crores, whereas in the month of June this number was 120.564 crores.

TRAI report proved this

According to the data released by TRAI, Airtel suffered the most loss in the month of July after increasing the price of recharge plans. Bharti Airtel lost 16.9 lakh users. At the same time, Vodafone-Idea i.e. VI was at the second place in terms of this loss, which lost its 14.1 lakh users, while Reliance Jio suffered the biggest loss at the third place in this case, which lost its 7.58 lakh customers.

According to TRAI’s data, in the month of July, BSNL was the only telecom company in India that made a profit in terms of customers and not a loss. The number of BSNL customers increased in July. After Jio, Airtel and Vodafone-Idea increased the price of recharge plans, 29.4 lakh customers from across the country joined BSNL.

This report of TRAI confirms that the trend of joining BSNL on social media was absolutely correct. Since then, people have started rejecting the services of companies like Jio and Airtel to use BSNL.

Since then, BSNL started expanding its 4G (BSNL 4G) network rapidly and also started working on 5G technology, even now the trials of BSNL 5G (BSNL 5G) network have started in many areas of Delhi.
