A young man from Muzaffarpur also died tragically in a gruesome train accident near Bahanaga railway station in Balasore, Odisha. He had gone to Bangalore a few days ago with his friend. But, when the language was not understood, he made up his mind to return. Two friends also started coming back with him. But, who knew that he would not come home.

All the friends had boarded the 12864 Howrah – Bengaluru Express. Meanwhile, a horrific accident took place in Balasod in which one boy from Muzaffarpur died while another was injured. The deceased was 21-year-old Vikas Kumar, a resident of Mishraulia village of Aurai block. Whereas, his friend Ravi Kumar and Hrithik of Patna were partially injured in the accident.

Vikas was buried under the seat: died in front

Vikas’s friend Ravi told that Hrithik, a friend of Patna, lived in Bangalore. Both the friends work as carpenters. Had left a few days back for work. Had reached Hrithik. But the language was not understood. Due to which Vikash decided to return. Hrithik also came to the station from behind. Said that we will also go together. All were sitting in the Bangalore Howrah Express. Everything was fine. Had to change train from Howrah. But, in the meantime, suddenly the spark started coming out. As long as the train overturned. Nothing was visible. There was only noise. Many people were buried. Both the friends were looking for Ravi. After about 15 minutes, Vikash was found buried under the seat. He was taken to the hospital where he died.

Ravi told that nothing was understood after Vikas’s death. There was a hue and cry in the hospital. People were covered in blood. Hospitals were getting filled. Everyone was helping each other. Couldn’t muster the courage to tell at home. Somehow mustering courage, the news of Vikas’s death was given. An ambulance has been made for 15 thousand, from which the dead body of Vikas is being brought. Ram Babu, the father of deceased Vikas, does odd jobs in the village itself.
