Aligarh Municipal Corporation has become vacant due to transfer of four officers in three days. After Additional Municipal Commissioner Ritu Punia, Assistant Municipal Commissioner TP Singh, the government has transferred Deputy Municipal Commissioner Raj Kishore Prasad and Assistant Municipal Commissioner Pooja Srivastava. Raj Kishore Prasad has been sent to Moradabad and Pooja Srivastava has been sent to Khurja Municipality.

Transfer Express has been running in the Municipal Corporation for the last three days. So far four officers have been transferred. No new posting has been made in its place yet. One Additional Municipal Commissioner, one Deputy Municipal Commissioner and two Assistant Municipal Commissioners have been transferred from Aligarh. Assistant Municipal Commissioner Pooja Srivastava was given the charge of Khurja Municipality for several months. Before this, he was also the EO of Atrauli Municipality. After getting the charge of Khurja Municipality, the Assistant Municipal Commissioner was coming to the Municipal Corporation less. Higher officials had also expressed objection regarding this.

Now the government has completely handed over the charge of EO in Khurja. Deputy Municipal Commissioner Raj Kishore Prasad, who was posted in the Municipal Corporation for two years, has been sent to Moradabad. Now only one Additional Municipal Commissioner Rakesh Yadav is left in the Municipal Corporation. Some other officers are also busy getting themselves transferred. Apart from this, a tax officer will retire at the end of February. In such a situation, the hearing of the complainants has now fallen on the CTO, TS and other officers.
