With the aim of enhancing the public transport network in the country’s capital, Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot on Thursday launched the new bus route 711A. He flagged off the bus along with local MLA Virendra Singh Kadian in a program at Old Nangal in Delhi Cantonment. Buses on this new route 711A will run from Uttam Nagar Terminal to Sarai Kale Khan covering various important places. This new bus route will provide easy commuting to the people living in and around Janakpuri, Tilak Pul, Jeevan Park, Dabri Crossing, Janak Cinema, Desu Colony, Sagarpur, Old Nangal and Kirby Place.
During this, Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot said, ‘Public transport makes it easier for people to access health, education and employment opportunities. About 43 lakh people travel in buses every day in Delhi. This new route was demanded by the local people. When it came to my notice, I happily agreed to start the service on this route, as our primary aim is to serve the people of Delhi and provide them comfortable travel in our buses. The launch of the 711A bus route reflects our commitment to provide convenient world-class public transport options to the citizens of Delhi. Under the able leadership of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, we are committed to providing safe, comfortable, world-class public transport to the people of Delhi.
Today MLA Mr. @virenderrkadian Started the new bus route number 711A from Old Nangal village of Delhi Cantt with JI by flagging off the buses.
With the start of this bus route, people living in Old Nangal village and surrounding areas will get convenience in commuting.
