‘Treasure’ found in the deep sea, people jumped with joy after seeing it, this thing was never seen till date

It is said that there is treasure inside the sea. According to United Nations estimates, there are at least three million shipwrecks lying on the seabed, many of which may be full of treasures. Many countries of the world keep searching for this from time to time. Archaeologists also constantly keep an eye on them. But in the deep sea off the coast of Chile, scientists have found a priceless object, which had not been seen till date. Scientists are very happy about this.

According to the Mirror report, more than 100 new species have been found underwater off the coast of Chile, which look as if they are from another planet. These include many unique corals, sponges, sea urchins, amphipods and squat lobsters. This type of species had not been seen till date. These were found on mountains formed in the deep sea. These sea mountains are up to 3,530 meters high. These are known as Salas y Gomez Ridge. This mountain range is 2,900 kilometers long and is made up of more than 200 sea mountains.

Search for cobalt through robots
A team of international scientists was searching for treasure in these areas with the help of a robot named Subastian. They expected that there might be huge amounts of cobalt under water. Some companies are also engaged in this work here. Scientists fear that if anything is extracted from here, it will destroy most of the unseen marine life living here. The robot that scientists are using to investigate this place can go to a depth of 4,500 meters in the sea. It is 14.5 times taller than The Shard of London. It has been designed to collect data from seamounts.

Humans have probably never seen them before
Scientists found that coral rocks and sponges are live. At such depths they also found brightly colored and mysterious species of fish, lobsters and amphipods, which humans had probably never seen before. Scientists are now studying their genes to see whether they match any species present on Earth or not. Professor Dr. Xavier Selenes said, whatever we saw was surprising. Especially some groups like Sponge, we had never even imagined this. Let us tell you that for the first time scientists are exploring areas with a depth of more than 600 meters. They have set a target of discovering 100,000 new marine species in the next 10 years.
