Every year lakhs of candidates prepare for admission in IIT. Only a few candidates are able to get admission after passing the exam. But a daughter of Telangana, despite getting a good rank in JEE exam, will graze goats instead of giving wings to her dreams. A big reason behind this is said to be the financial condition of the family.
According to media reports, Madhulata is a tribal student from Sircilla village in Telangana. Madhulata, who belongs to the Scheduled Tribe category, had given the JEE exam. She performed well in the exam and also secured 824th rank. After which she also got a seat in IIT Patna. But due to financial conditions, her studies seem to be hindered. According to reports, Madhulata’s family does not have enough money to pay her fees. Also, the date for paying the fees is now very close.
The family is not able to pay the fees
Speaking to the media, the student’s teacher Bukya Lingam Nayak said that the student belongs to an economically backward family. Due to which she is not able to pay the fees. The family does not even have enough money to educate the daughter in a degree college, IIT is a very big college. If the family does not get help, Madhulata will not be able to study in IIT. Even after cracking the JEE exam, she will not be able to study in IIT.
Time till 27th July
Madhulata’s father is ill. In such a situation, Madhulata has decided to help the family financially. For which she is ready to graze goats. According to reports, student Madhulata has time till July 27 to pay the hostel fees as well as other expenses. She will have to deposit three lakh rupees only then her seat in IIT will be confirmed. Madhulata’s parents are seeking help from people for their daughter’s higher education. According to the report, Madhulata has been contacted by the state government.
