Tripura Assembly Elections 2023 JP Nadda To Release BJP Manifesto Today At Tripura


Tripura BJP Manifesto: Campaigning for the assembly elections in the country’s three north-eastern states of Nagaland, Meghalaya and Tripura has gained momentum. In this sequence, JP Nadda, president of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party in Tripura, will release the party’s manifesto regarding the elections to be held in the state today.

According to a report in news agency ANI, BJP national president JP Nadda will release the manifesto for the Tripura assembly elections on Thursday (February 9) at 12.30 pm. BJP has claimed that their manifesto will work to add new features to the development of the state.

What can be mentioned in BJP’s manifesto?
A BJP leader told ANI that the Modi government has always been thinking about the development of the North East. His vision is the development of the state and more importantly the youth. According to him, BJP will try to work for the welfare of the state with focus on Tripura’s infrastructure, law and order and women.

According to the plan released by the BJP, BJP President JP Nadda will take out a roadshow after praying at Tripura Sundari Mandiya in the morning and then releasing the manifesto in Agartala. Sources said that PM Modi is likely to visit the state on 13 February.

When are the elections in Tripura?
Voting for the Tripura Assembly will be held on February 16 and the results will come on March 2. A total of 259 candidates have filed nominations for this election. BJP has fielded its maximum number of 55 candidates in the state. CPM has a total of 43 candidates, followed by TIPRA Motha with 42, TMC with 28, Congress with 13, BJP’s ally IPFT with 6 and CPI, RSP and Forward Bloc with one candidate each.
